I bought the iGen4500DFc a month ago. It running fine, both Gasoline and propane, except for the electric start ( not working ) I think that's a minor problem , I need tech. support. Anyway.

Generator fine the leaking gas not great

I found out today that if you leave the gas valve on that the gas will leak out of the regulator. I purchased this generator for the remote start feature. If you have to go to the tank which is right next to the generator to turn on the gas why do you need a remote start/stop. For this reason I would not recommend this generator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to power our house in case there is a power outage. We are very happy with this product. We tried this generator with a few different items and it works great.

Premature rating, but positive so far

Got this a couple weeks ago and went through the break on period. While breaking it in I tested all the features to see if it was working properly. So far so good. Just what I was looking for. Now it’s ready for it’s true test; power outage.
Quite at idle and low watt items. Does get a little loud when under heavy strain. Oil change is a bit cumbersome. Nice compact package. Nice features. Like the recoil backup start. Love the propane option. Handle vibrates when running, a little annoying. Plastic cover showed some minor damage. Overall it should meet my needs and it’s what it promised. Pretty minor complaints, but it did make me knock off a star.

Well designed generator

I just recieved my generator and was impressed with the nice quality look and feel of the generator. It took a few try’s to get it started but after it started I was again impressed by the quiet running machine even when on high RPM. This generator offered all my requirements of DF , remote start , wheel kit and inverted. So far it’s exceeded my expectations.

This is the best of the best

To keep this short, I use this to power my travel travel AC and microwave being the biggest items. With the amazing remote start, from anywhere around your campsite, you start, run on propane, and use both micro and AC at the same time, which still gave 25% more power available. Love it runs on propane, and also has the remote start. Started first run, and has been flawless. Three trips to the wild so far.
