Like size and portability

I have a larger generator that is great, but is difficult to transport. I wanted a smaller generator and something quieter (this is why I went with an inverter). This meets both criteria. I also like the ability to use either gas or propane. Good so far.

Purchased to run 5 th wheel camper. Ran 1 a/c all day and night on 1 tank of gas in 90 degree weather worked great also used microwave and coffee maker with no problems. Only used for 1 weekend. Easy to move with handle.When truck is disconnected from camper fits under truck bed cover to lock up when not in use. Pretty quiet gets louder when under load about the same as a Honda. Overall happy with power, size and weight

Had this generator for a week. Very good instructions and easy setup. This generator is super quiet and the electric stat feature is super nice. The extendable handle works really well moving the generator around.

Bought the 4500DF last month and really pleased with the features. Dual Fuel, electric and remote start and plenty of power for most needs. The wheels and handle make it easy for anyone to move around as needed.

Works no problem

Works likes it supposed to so far. After you get fuel through the lines it starts up first crank. The electric start and remote both work no problem. The plug for the built in battery charger is nice because I already forgot to shut off my battery and I killed it but I just plugged it into an outlet to get it charge. I have run it off both gas and propane with no issues. The noise level isn’t to bad for a generator this size. Running it on the grass or dirty vs concrete will reduce the noise a lot. The only cons the this generator so far are that the oil change is kind of a pain on this model. I recommend get an after market oil drain hose to put on. It’s heavy but so are all generators this size. No easy to get to manual fuel shut off valve. The manual say to turn on the manual choke and fuel valve but this model doesn’t not have those because it is all automatic. The muffler sits a little low so you might kill some grass if you don’t cover the grass with something like a piece of wood. Overall a very easy to operate dual fuel generator. I hooked it up to my small camper trailer and was able to run my small AC unit, the 12 volt refrigerator, and the microwave all the the same time with power to spare.

Versatile, perfect for my needs

I just purchased the igen4500df and it is perfect for my needs in different applications.
It will be used to power RV when needed, but as well at jobsite powering power tools. It is heavy but with built in wheels and handle it will transport easily for social events. It's design is high tech. I look forward to years of use.
