First Impressions

Quality item in most respects. Having to install a high altitude kit was a surprise and there was a yet to be located loose item rattling around in the bottom of the generator. Will find that hopefully when I change out the jets in the regulator and carburetor.

I liked my first Westinghouse 4500DF that I bought a second one. I also bought the parallel kit to run them simultaneously for 50 amp service. I haven’t run them but based on the obvious quality of the construction and design it was not a mistake. I’ve recommended this product to friends already!

I haven’t even run my generator yet but I can tell already it meets my expectations and then some. Well packaged with very clear instructions and Westinghouse thought of it all! Attention to small details are important particularly to military members. I’m getting a second one!

I bought this to use in case of power outage in my home. I have only run it a short time to test it out but it fired right up on the first button push and runs smoothly and quietly.

Works Great / Oil In Shipping Box When Opening

Generator works as advertised, however when I open the box there was oil in the bag it was shipped in. There was motor oil on the bottom of the box and motor oil leaking out of the bottom of the unit. I sent information to Westinghouse support and they answered quickly and told me that this is normal.

Quiet for the power

Happy with my purchase. I needed enough power so that when power was out at the house we would be good but wanted to make sure it wasn't to loud. Didn't disappoint. Worth the money.
