Love the duel fuel feature. Simple turn of the switch even when it's running. Quietest generator in the campground too. Love it!

iGen5000DFc quiet yet powerful

just bought this generator. my son is using the electric pressure washer with it to vary the load for break in under 50% load. Makes a little noise when changing load but nowhere near the noise of my 5700 yanmar diesel generator. time will tell.

Great Little Generator

I bought this inverter generator in July and have tested it with propane. It is pretty heavy but starter it without issue. I ran flawlessly and am in process of installing a connection to the house. I am confident this unit will work as expected when the need occurs.

Little Powerhouse

This unit is perfect for our 21' travel trailer. Operates all appliances including AC, it's as quiet as you could hope for. It of course makes noise, but seems acceptable to neighbors. I really enjoy the remote start and the weight is certainly manageable for a 65 year old :)

Quiet, Well-Built, and Reliable

I’m really impressed with the Westinghouse iGen 5000DFC. From the start, it’s been reliable and easy to use. What stands out the most is how quiet it runs compared to other generators I’ve used. Whether I’m running it during a camping trip or for home backup, the noise is minimal, which is great for not disturbing neighbors or wildlife.
It also feels very well-built—sturdy and durable. It handles loads well and runs smoothly without any issues. So far, I haven’t had any problems with it, and it gives me confidence that it will last for years to come. I appreciate the dual fuel capability, which adds flexibility depending on what fuel I have available.
All in all, it’s a great generator, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for something reliable, quiet, and easy to use!

I just unpackaged and did my break in run and the remote doesn't work. I tried everything and read instructions. The oil drain is in a sick place and doesn't allow the oil to drain anywhere but under the motor and inside the entire bottom shroud. I will still recommend this generator though only based on the reviews I've read before purchasing as I have only had it for 2 days. So far I'm not happy with its design. but it seems to run good
