Nice Little Generator

I bought this generator to use In case of a power outage. I plan to use it to recharge home backup batteries. I have not had to use it for a power outage yet. However, It does perform as advertised. Much quieter than my old open frame generator.

Lightweight, quiet

Have a large generator for home but wanted a smaller "suitcase" type generator for our place at the lake. Wished I would have had it before Helene knocked out the power for a couple weeks! Only had it a short time but am very satisfied with it's performance so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my Westinghouse inverter iGen2550

I bought it 6 days ago then watched a video of the product filled it with oil and gas ran it I loved it works great and very quite I love it I am use extension cords and I can plug my camper into it and I can charge my phone and I can use 2 together it is very easy to use I will be sure to recommend this product thank you

Works Great As Expected

Just bought this generator after seeing a larger version of it running some freezers and was amazed at how quiet it was. Virtually no assembly required. Just screw the propane hose on, fill the engine with oil, and crank it up. I did have a little difficulty in realizing that I had the engine on/off switch in the off position. Once I rectified this mistake, it started right up. I ran it for a while at 1/3 load for 20 minutes and it barely took any propane to run. I ran it at 1/2 load and ran it for a total of 2 hours. I plan to run it for another 3 hours today to charge some batteries at 1/3 to 1/2 load. After that I'll give it a test at full load and see how it works. On days where we lose grid power, I plan to use it to charge some solar batteries overnight.

Light weight and quiet

This is my second Westinghouse inverter generator. I bought this one for a lighter weight option. First generator is a 4500 and is much heavier. I’ve put it well through its pieces for the last three years with no issues. I’m hoping to have the same experience with this 2550. So far so good, and I love how quiet it is.
