Great machine, but not sure about support

I purchased this iGen2500 to be used as a second generator in a parallel configuration. Setup was a breeze, and the inclusion of the oil and funnel was a nice touch. Started up on the first pull and runs quietly and smoothly. My only issue is initially the fuel gauge, which displays as a colored bar and as a digital quantity, was stuck at 0.9L, despite how much fuel was in it. So I called customer support, described the problem, and was told a Technician would get back to me. After 9 days, I have not yet heard anything back from them! Knowing that most fuel gauges work using a float, just today I decided to try jarring the float by dropping the generator about 4 inches. That fixed the problem, so all's well unless it never goes back down? But the fact I never received a call back concerns me... we'll see! Otherwise, great generator at a good price!

Just what I needed

This generator powers my refrigerator, freezer,and sump pump with power left over to power my satellite TV system. Just what I need when the power goes out.

Quiet and powerful

Received the iGen2500 about a week ago. Setup instructions were clear and simple and took about 5 minutes. Started up first pull. Very quiet, particularly in the Efficiency Mode which drops the idle down to deliver only the power that is needed. I learned quickly that to power high demand equipment, like a compressor, it is best to take it out of Efficiency mode to start it, which makes sense as the surge current takes a few seconds for the generator to ramp up to speed. Otherwise, all my tests of power delivery, volume, etc. are great! Time will tell on longevity.

...for those looking for a generator easy to transport, but still capable of meeting all your power needs. Looking forward to camping off grid while still enjoying the AC in our travel trailer.

Great generator. We are using it to run the air conditioner on our cabin boat. It is not too heavy to bring along and runs great.

Easy starting, lots of power for a camper.

This is for our camper. Previous unit would only run the ac. This igen2500, at the same weight and size, runs the ac cool, ac heat strip and microwave all from the economy idle setting. Really pleased with this purchase and look forward to setting up camp.

Efficient generator

Easy to set up initially, runs my gas furnace and a few other items. I like the digital displays on the front. Light weight for its power.
