New generator

Just bought after a power outage. Only needed it for about 6 hours but it ran my refrigerator and a pump that circulates the water in my koi pond just fine. Didn’t even put much of a load on it. No issues so far. Can’t speak on durability yet but it operates as stated so far. Going to see if it’ll run my furnace next.

Good all purpose generator

I bought this mostly for power to recharge camper batteries and to run the camper AC when it's hot outside. So far it has worked great for that. It has the capacity for the bare necessities as a home backup generator also.
You do need to be religious about running the generator at least every couple of weeks especially if your running gas with ethanol. Fuel stabilizer helps but you really need to drain the carb float bowl for extended down periods. I also run non ethanol gas only.

Light and quiet

This is my 2nd Westinghouse generator/inverter. On a rare occasion it would be nice to run 2 in parallel. This one is slightly bigger than the older one, but feels lighter to me.
The display is what sold me on this one. It's very helpful to know how many hours you have on the engine for scheduled maintenance!

Running work lights, 4-1/2" cutoff grinder, and shop vac all at once. Quiet runing and great on fuel.

just started my igen 2550c for the first time

first start up and wow it started on the second pull, was totally suprised how quiet it ran. oh it was off eco mode, flipped the switch on and it just purred, love it. toggled a 600 then 1200 watt load and it ran beautifully. the machine ran so smooth and vibration free. I am 100% delighted with this Westinghouse Inverter generator.
