I replaced a larger, heavier, and much nosier with this one. Easy to set up and use. Big enough for what I need in emergencies. Much much quieter than I expected. Love ir

Bought this in oct after hurricane Helene tore up our state and knocked our power out for several days with freezer full of meat so that I could power my essential appliances in and emergency !works great and easy to use with no pulling required thanks to key fob ! Higher recommend great product and great price

Great Little Generator

Purchased the iGEN2550 dual fuel in early October 2024 because hurricane Helene left our marina without power and this is the only way to charge the boat's batteries. The unit started fairly easy (it took a few pulls of the cord) and ran very quiet. The only issue I found was locating the serial number. Instructions say to look in the information label (not there), then during product registration the instruction to locate the serial number says it is under the exhaust (not there either). So I found a large number/letter combination that I used, I hope that is the correct serial number. Another number (CRA0281) was with the user manual, but I don't know if this is correct.

I have had a need for a small inverter generator as my main one is too big to carry camping, hunting, etc. After months of studying, I settled on the igen2550dfc due to reliability, price, power, and dual fuel capabilities. It went on sale 2 weeks ago and I was able to get one from a reputable dealer for an awesome price. The cord is super easy to pull and it starts up very easy. I can't wait to hook it up to my travel trailer after the 25 hour break in period.

Worked Great During Hurricane Milton!

It started easily right out of the box. It easily ran a full sized refrigerator/freezer, multiple lights, and charged several devices all at the same time. It could have handled a heavier load. Running on propane it produced almost zero fumes and ran for many hours on just 1/2 bottle propane. It is very quiet, almost as quiet as my neighbor's Honda that cost much much more. I'm thinking about buying a second one to hook to this one for the next hurricane. Light weight and easy to handle. Highly recommend it.
