Well built solid heavy duty Generator

Received the generator in absolutely great condition. by truck and the driver placed it in my garage. Easy set up instructions. I,m going to use Natural Gas but used propane to start it up. It fired right off and ran great, I have set it up in a small resin garbage can storage unit and plan to hook it up as a home backup. I had to take the wheels off to make it fit inside, I still have to vent the exhaust and add several more air vents. This generator is well designed and the manual is well written. A lot of power and flexibity at a great price.

I bought this generator to run on natural gas it runs my house with a 3ton ac with no problem l. My A/c guy said I didn’t need a soft start the generator would handle it just fine that alone saved me 400 dollars. Love it.

Won't run off propane at the moment

Got this recently, just in time for Hurricane Helene. Setup was simple. However it would not start or run off my 20# propane tank. Even tried a second fresh propane tank. But ran with no issues on gasoline. Powered entire house (without HVAC attached), including water heater, well pump and septic pump. Also all the lights and electronics. Full tank of 97 octane would run at least 12 hours. Ran for 3 days straight (only stopping to refuel every 12 hours) without a hiccup. Pleased with the low THD. I will be reaching out to WH service to figure out why the propane was a no-go. I bought it because I want to run it off propane. I hate gas engines that sit unused for long periods of time, because they always gum up. If I get the propane working, I'd give it 6 stars!

I bought this generator because of the great reviews people were giving this company on their generators. At the time other brands also were backordered just like this one, but Westinghouse were back in stock sooner than the other guys. Got my unit home and assembled the wheel kit and it was definitely has held us to the reputation. This thing fired up on the first start without any issues and I got it broke in and ready for the next utility crisis or hurricane. Thank you Westinghouse for supplying a good product to your customers.
