JUST WHAT WE NEED

We have been talking about getting a portable generator for many years, after another "ice event" we decided to pull the trigger. There are so many options. We did our research and the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel was clearly our best option. We love the idea of using the natural gas option. This will allow us to have continuous supply of fuel. We avoid having to stock up on either gasoline or propane or, worrying about running out of fuel in the middle of a power outage.
The WGen11500TFc - Tri-Fuel provides enough power to meet all of our needs and more when we lose power.

Best Overall Value of any Generator

This generator hits the sweet spot in every way. It will put out 95 amps at 120 vac continuously and has the big 50 amp outlet which is all you really need to power the basics in your entire house.
Most important and which almost everyone overlooks, is that this output is CLEAN AC power. If you look under an oscilloscope at the AC output of the cheaper generators you will see a clunky step pyramid where it should be smooth. This output will damage sensitive electronics in your house like mobile phones and laptops.
This generator here has low "Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)" of less than or equal to 5%, which is utility company grade. The cheaper models only promise <25%, you need to avoid these or you risk damaging your most expensive electronics
Three fuel source options, high clean output, integrated metering, safety monitoring, perfect choice.

I bought this generator because I lost power in North Mississippi due to Winter Storm Fern. We had list of ice causing our entire county to lose power. We don’t have a timeframe of when we will get power but it has been over a week. This generator powers a lot of the things in my house for my family. Thankful.

Great features! Easy to prime / get ready for use

I bought this item a couple weeks ago as a back up, haven't had to use yet, but getting it ready to go, not too loud and will run the entire house no problem! Happy we were able to get the tri fuel!!

Be Prepared

This is my second unit purchased because I was so impressed with the first one. I was able to run just about my entire household, including well, furnace, lights and freezers / refrigerators all at once when I load tested the unit in a trial.
Easy to start and maintenance is simple. Well thought out manual with good information for operation and service.
I suggest changing out Torch plug for NGK...never even tried the Torch. Changed out first thing when prepping the unit for break in run. The manual lists NGK plug to use as a choice.
