Best whole home alternative out there.

For the money, comparing this generator to a generac vs just running this Westinghouse through a transfer switch into your panel safely, there's no question. We've got natural gas so there's no running out to fill up gas cans if you don't have to. I've installed "slow/soft" starts on our AC units and were able to run our AC during an outage. I wanted to be prepared for the next winter storm (or even hurricane, good lord) and the 10500 has everything I need to keep our fridges and AC going safely. I'm using this exact setup at my mother's house as well. It even comes with a remote fob start that I didn't see listed in the info, nice! I trust the name as I've encountered no negatives with Westinghouse during the last ten years as an HVAC mechanic and look forward to having lights on when I need them to be.

Perfect and Reliable

I bough this generator just in time for hurricane Beryl in Texas. We lost power for 5 days and with this generator, a natural gas hookup and manual switching box I was able to keep my house running perfectly. Power outages are a thing of the past. It starts easily with the remote and is certainly user friendly.

I live in a 2700 sqft - 1 HVAC unit home and was able to power my whole house with this big boy. (also I do recomend to install a soft start on your ac)

Easy set up and great power

I bought the 9500 tri fuel for my elderly parents and it worked well for their needs. Decided to upgrade a bit because of my pool equipment I would like to run for a couple of hours during an outage. This generator performed well with the load. Very thankful for it and how easy it is to use.

This Generator is an Absolute Powerhouse

When I say this generator is an absolute powerhouse, I mean it. I got the 10500 watts to keep my home powered during hurricanes, and it hasn’t let me down. In my area, power outages after storms can last for days, but this generator gave me peace of mind when everything else went dark.

Totally pleased with this purchase. Arrived in 7 days after purchase. Very easy set up and Westinghouse makes it simple by including everything. Two wrenches to tighten nuts and bolts to install the feet, the battery, and even the oils and angled funnel. The electric start is a game changer as it even adjusts the throttle and choke automatically. It’s heavy but the oversized wheels and handle make it easy to move around.

Big, Powerful, and Reasonably Priced

Just picked up the generator this past week. Unboxing and minor assembly were a breeze. (Read the manual.) Added oil, connected propane tank with included hose and it fired right up with the remote. Loving it so far!!!
