Big enough to power entire house

Living in Florida during Hurricane season, I got tired of dealing with only being able to run my refrigerators and a couple fans and lights off of my little 2000 watt inverter generator. I live in a rural area so when my power is out, I have no running water either. This has enough output to run my well and everything essential inside. I haven’t been without power long enough to attempt turning on my water heater (only cold showers) or stove (have a camping stove and gas grill), and I haven’t attempted to run the well with both AC units and probably won’t (run AC long enough to cool the house, flips breakers when or even we need water). A portable generator this size (11,500 watt) is a fraction of the cost of a built in and works nearly as well under most circumstances, as long as you don’t mind manual load management.

I've not had to put this generator to use yet, but have performed a test run to break-in the engine. Seems to be a solid generator with any fuel choice you may need.

Bought this in response to Hurricane Helene. It’s has paid for itself and more!! I truly love being able to use multiple sources of fuel. Come in handy when the gas line are long.

Quality in every detail

I purchased this as an upgrade to my current generator. I was looking for something with low THD, 50 amp receptacle, and multi-fuel capabilities that wouldn't break the bank. The 11500TFc checks all those boxes. This is my first Westinghouse generator. The significantly superior build quality to my current generator was a welcomed surprise and was immediately obvious when unpacking the generator. The thoughtfulness of the design is evident in little things like battery quick disconnects, trickle charger port, overall circuit breaker, digital readout, and push button start. On top of it all, it comes with a trickle charger, a propane hose, and natural gas hose. I truly appreciate a company that doesn't nickel and dime their customers to death.
Just a few hours of setting up and running this generator has reassured me that this is a worthwhile upgrade.

WGen11500 TFC - A Great Add To Your Home

Bought this unit because of 3 factors, low THD level, tri-fuel ability and KW capacity at the lowest kw fuel choice (NG=9KW). Really a great unit, started up and ran great on NG right out of the box. I enhanced the unit with: 3/4”NG hose at my meter and piped down to 1/2” quick connect at generator quick link fitting. swapped out spark plug to a NGKBPR6E and lubed the top of the cylinder with a couple of drops of Lucus treatment prior to break in. Broke in an hour, unburdened with load then changed the oil. Ran the second hour with 4200kw load and then changed the oil again. I’m all ready for a power out situation with this beast. It measured 90 deceb at source then 70 deceb about 15’ away. Dropped down to 45deceb inside my house. This is your best solution, if you can get one: THD below 5% so no harm to any electronics(central heater compute board, water heater, TVs, well pump, sewer grinder, etc). I needed at least 8500 watts to run my well pump, sewer grinder, gas heater, gas water heater, gas stove top, tvs, modem & router, LED lights while using natural gas as a fuel source - this unit does it awe don’t have a lot of power outages but I’m prepping for the impending surprise power outage strike.

Good value for generator size and low total harmonic distortion.
