Just received the unit yesterday. Set up was easy, connected it to Propane and it started right up. Tested it on a small appliance, works great. All set for the next power outage.

I bought this for power outage during Hurricane Helene. It did not disappoint & has more than enough power to power your entire house included HVAC.

Low THD, great power

I did a lot of research looking for a generator with enough power to run the whole house and had a low THD. The Westinghouse WGen11500 seem to fit the bill without having to go to an inverter. One of the main selling features was tri fuel which provides 3 different ways to power the generator. After waiting for 2 months this model became available.

Works Perfect for our Purposes

Unless you don't mind it being over 100 degrees in your house in Oct if the power goes out, you have to have a generator if you live in Houston. This generator runs our whole house. We installed it inside a pool toy box, put in a muffler, and have a place the cord and gas line can come out of. This keeps the generator dry in bad weather, and we don't have to worry about it taking up space in the garage.
