Easy to use. Fired right up. So much more simple than the pull-start generators I grew up with. I'm so glad we upgraded to the 11500. Great job Westinghouse! Phenomenal product.

I bought this last week and was delivered Aug 10 2026. So far so good with 1.5 hrs testing only - seems to be great machine - only issue for me is I would like to have seen load % on panel

Very Nice Unit

I'm very happy that I have this to support my family and I during power outages, which seem to be happening more frequently even though we live in a very well-established city. Am using natural gas for fuel. I also signed up for the GenerLink 40 amp meter offered by the local utility which allows us to plug a special power cord from the electric utility meter into the 50 amp plug in the generator so that most if not all of the house can be powered through the existing electrical service to the house. This avoids running extension cords from the generator into the house.
I will say that some of the description in the manual that came with the generator needs to be changed. For example, when paring the key fob, the manual (page 24) says to push the red REMOTE PAIRING button, but that button is not labeled on the generator. You have to hunt around for a red button, which I eventually found on the side near the battery. Also in that same pairing section of the manual, it says to turn the engine control switch to the RUN position. There is no engine control switch like this shown in the manual. I figured out that it was the Battery On switch. Lastly, if you're using natural gas, it wasn't clear (to me anyway) that you have to close the gasoline fuel switch to the off position.

Great Value and Features

Bought this last month. Compared to other brands this was a great value. Wheels attached easily. Seems sturdy. Really like the tri-fuel feature. One note —remote start was not in package. I found it later attached to starter cord of machine.

Has all the features anyone would need

I have less than 1 hour run time on the generator I bought this for power backup and it worked as planned using a Westinghouse Smart Switch. No issues. It starts and runs fine.
