Excellent quality

I live in Florida and need a dependable generator to get us through the hurricane seasons.
I have 2 older generators, but needed a generator with more modern safety features and build.
After researching home generators I settled on Westinghouse WGen11500TFc. It has all modern features I am looking for plus the capacity to run most appliances in my house, long run-time and remote start.
Generator was packaged very well. No damage whatsoever to the unit.
Comes complete with everything you need to get up and running with ease.
Very easy minimal assembly required.
Excellent quality and craftsmanship. Very sturdy build.
Very happy to see a large muffler on the generator - a weak point on older generators.
I am not looking forward to any hurricanes next year, but piece of mind knowing I will have power to run the house and air conditioning is very important.

Great mid/large size generator to run on propane

I really like this generator. It's a good solid mid to large size, with plenty of power to run the house. I'm running it on propane from a hookup from our underground tank, so no troubles with portable tanks, or messing with gasoline. I got a good 30A 20ft extension cord, to hook to the house, but keep the exhaust away. It starts right up after the hose fills with gas, and delivers the power. It's heavy, but not too bad, and the handle and wheels let me move it pretty easily. I did happen to have leave it on my cart when delivered, so I got the wheels and feet on while it was in the air (suggestion from other reviews). The gas company guy doing the hookup said he likes Westinghouse generators too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ordered this and it got to store in less than a week. it went together really easy and I'm
impressed with how well it's built. after filling it with oil and gas it started right up. i cant wait to put this beast to work

Powerful generator on NG

Bought this just the other day. Was easy to set up and runs my house fine on propane. Just waiting to get the natural gas hookup.

Best Portable Generator for the Price

We have owned several generator manufacturers in the past and this one is the most versatile and best running. We bought the tri-fuel model to have access to every type of fuel type at our home. This generator has a lot of power and long run times for the price. It is not as heavy to move around like others for it's size. The key fob is the icing on the cake.

I've only turned it on but not actually plugged it in to operate any equipment. It is extremely loud with no load. The product literature mentions 70dB. It is more like 110dB or more - again, with no load. After we test/use this generator under load I'll update this review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
