Amazing generator

We were looking for a generator that would run the majority of our home in case of a power outage. This generator fit the bill and was very cost effective.

Great to have a Key FOB starter

Just got this generator and it was easy to assemble wheels and legs. Filled it with oil that was supplied and filled it with gas. It started right up and ran my 12 inch table saw just fine. Can't wait to try it on my house.

Great Workhorse For Hurricane Season

We live in Houston and have experienced a few power outages over the last few years. Finally, this year we said enough is enough!
The Westinghouse TriFuel 11500 is exactly what we were looking for. Setup was straight forward with easy to follow instructions. We cut the box down the sides and slid it out. We used the pallet it was delivered on to prop it up during the install of the wheels and legs. The legs and pull bar on the WH are much sturdier than what I've seen on comparable generators. We are using ours connected to a natural gas line directly on our house.
So far it has started every time on the first try both via the push button and the remote.
With the capacity of this unit, we are able to run our 3k sq ft home, with extra power to spare. We had a 50 amp plug installed directly off our electrical panel so we can just "plug and play".
I know many people reading reviews are probably debating between this one and another blue brand...the WH is such a great quality at a fair price - you can't beat it!

But Westinghoue avail. ATS only 30A

Great portable 56 amp output 240v generator, but Westinghouse only offers 2 ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) rated at 20A and 30A. This WGen11500TFc generator puts out 56 amps so what Transfer switch is available for the typical Do-It-Yourselfer compatible with it? Westinghouse does say it is ATS compatible, but then disappoints.
