I bought this on 08/06/25. Am able to run the load I needed. great for backup power after hurricanes and power outages.

Will NOT RUN MY CENTRAL AC

I bought this generator on 30 July of this year because of the reviews I have read and the 14,500 start-up watts. Ho wever the locked rated amps(LRA) of my central AC is apparently higher than what the generator can handle and it will not run the air conditioner. The reviews that I read said that the generator would run 4 and 5 ton AC units, but it does not run my 3.5 ton. I am very disappointed and I don't think I can return it because I have serviced it and run it for several hours trying to get it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
