Free upgrade

I haven't tried this generator yet. I ordered a duel-fuel but Westinghouse sent me free upgraded tri-fuel model which was a pleasant and grateful surprise. I want to try this model which has a THD of < 5%. My last was >5% and my freezers motor would get the cabinet extremely hot and I would have to unplug them after a short run. I was told this was from the high THD. Time will tell as I live in an area with power outages with summer thunderstorms and hurricanes, I 'm sure it won't be long before it's put to use
I'm hopeing for many yrs of service, as my friends have similar models with no problems.

I used this generator for an approximate 72 hour power outage. It ran as it should, and I was surprised how fuel efficient it was.

Great Generator

I own the 9500 Dual Fuel Generator. During a 3 day power outage 2 years ago this generator served us perfectly. We run ours on natural gas so i purchased the natural gas adapter kit. This generator was able to run the entire house including our AC with no problem whatsoever. (We have a soft start on our AC). It was like we had not lost any power at all. I now want to up my power capacity so i have purchased this unit. As expected the generator fired right up. I like the layout of everything and know that after all my research I have purchased a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far so good, no power outage as of yet. This beats the huge cost of a whole house system. This will give us sufficient power during outages.

Started and ran great right out of the box

Removed the generator from the box, filled with the included oil, hooked up to propane tank and did the complete break-in procedure as instructed in the manual, had ZERO problems with it! We had a 50 amp connection installed by a certified electrician and none to soon. We had some bad storms that knocked out our power for over 10 hours but not at our house, generator fired right up on propane and worked flawlessly the entire outage - Highly recommend this generator!
