I've tested my new generator on several inverter welders and cutters that require low harmonic distortion 240V and everything works great. Fantastic generator.

Runs Great! It’s very hard to get started manually using natural
Gas even after properly breaking in the engine. If you plan to use natural gas you’ll need to follow the proper initial engine break in procedure. The engine will start fairly quickly with the remote start using natural gas. I haven’t been able to start it manually using natural gas. It’s starts up no problem manually using gasoline or propane. I assume it due the btu of natural gas.

Great Generator

Last 2 homes, we installed a 20kW whole home only to have less than a day of actual outages. So we went "portable" this time and saved a ton of money. In a few short months we have 16 hours of outage coverage and it has worked great. Super easy to connect up, starts every time, handles the air, and super clean power. UPS's protecting electronics have no complaints.

More Than Expected!

After considerable research I selected the Wgen11500 because it had all the power and features I was looking for, especially the low THD at <5% which meant I didn’t need a more costly inverter generator. The unit is large enough to run my entire house including a/c unit with a soft start install.
I have not had it for a short period, but I am so impressed with the ease of operation and ease of maintenance during the break in period. Changing oil is simple and easy, and also changed the spark plug for one that operates smoothly on propane.
I installed mine in my storage building with proper exhaust fans and an external exhaust muffler. I am ready for the storm season either winter or summer.
