I bought this generator to use as a backup power source during power outages. The generator was able to power my entire house with gas and propane as backup.

Great house generator

Bought this late May after a lot of research and speaking with friends on which generator to choose. The Westinghouse generator was favored especially for the tri-fuel option. We live in Houston and having the fuel options are key not only losing electric but if the area floods and being able to use various sources. I would recommend this generator for any family that’s want security if the weather turns bad.

I bought this generator to run my house. I really like the choice of being able to use 3 different fuels. .It started right up on gasoline and ran fine. It should work well for me.

Great Generator!

We bought this generator in preparation for bad weather forecasted to hit in hurricane season. The generator shipped and arrived very quickly and in perfect condition with all the accessories, hoses, and hardware present. We will be using this generator in the next few months and I’m very excited to have this to keep us up and running if the power goes out!

Works great out of box!

I bought this about a month ago after having a transfer switch installed. Works great out of the box and even handled 2 HVAC units (3.5 tons per unit).

Positive first impression

The generator was mostly easy to set up. The instructions were clear with the exception of the initial oil fill. If you're reading this, remember that the generator already has some residual oil inside it from the factory fill/test so it will not take the full amount that it comes with upon home set-up. Also, the generator and remote already come paired so you do not have to pair it upon arrival, or at least mine did.

House backup generator WGen10500TFc

Just bought this generator due to all the storms and unreliable power grid here in Texas. Took it out of the box, read the manual, put the wheels and legs on. Filled it with oil and hooked up the propane tank. It fired right up. Let it run a couple of hours then starting putting loads on it. It did well. Still waiting for electrician to come and install our transfer switch then we can really start loading it. We will be running it on natural gas once we get the connection finished up by the plumber. It is a little heavier than I thought it would be but it has large wheels and a sturdy handle so moving it in and out of the garage is not really a problem. All in all it looks to be a good investment.
