Works great, except-----

Works great now, but I had two problems. No. 1---the 30 amp connector is installed upside down, so, using a right angle male connector the cable faces up. Not a major issue. No. 2---the unit started and ran perfectly the first time I tried it. The next day we had a power outage, but when I started the unit it ran very rough, had no output, and smoked a bit. I assumed the automatic choke was stuck engaged. I removed the side cover and found what I thought was the problem. A metal tube around the spark plug wire had distorted a smaller tube next to it because of interference. I corrected this and also tapped on the carburetor since I could not locate anything that looked like an automatic choke. Don't know which action worked but the unit ran correctly after that and I have now run it about six times with no issues. Hope that is the end of the problem.

Very nice looking Generator

Just received my I Gen 4500 and am very impressed so far and have not even started it yet. It is a beautiful Generator and am sure it will perform perfect for my Travel Trailer I am so glad I spent a bit more to get more power and wattage. Is is a bit heavy but moving it is quite easy with the handle and Built in Wheels.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This generator is just as quiet as my Hond@ 3000 was but way more features and more power. To be fair it doesn't have the same quality feel as the Hond@, the Hond@ has a steel enclosure and this one is plastic, but at less than 1/2 the price (less than Hond@ 2000 watt) this has all these EXTRAS: (1) Fuel gauge with remaining run time, (2) Wheels! (3) remote start with auto choke. (4) built in battery maintainer. (5). load meter (6) Higher capacity It's a no brainer!

Light weight, easy to start, very quiet

I bought this to use on my motorhome for my wife's dialysis cycler which needed a inverter generator. This unis will do the job it was purchased for.
