With Hurricane Dorian coming, I am so glad I bought this generator. Quiet, reliable. Even though heavy, easy to move with the wheels and handle. Good for electronics. Use for refrigerator, freezer, lights, fans, LCD TV, DVR, computer, and (maybe someday) AC window unit. This generator is exactly what I was looking for.

I just received the iGEN4500, it was packed very well, included everything I needed except gas. Unpacked it oiled and gassed it up, hooked up the battery, turned on the battery switch, pushed the start button and it fired right up. I knew it would be quiet but, it was much quieter than my wife and I thought it would be. Can’t wait to do some dry camping in our 5th wheel. I’m certain it will run our trailer just fine. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I haven’t put it to a real test yet.

Some previous reviews had me cautious, but this IGEN4500 turned out to be superb so far.. This current version is on it's game ! Packaging was near perfect and delivery could not have been better. Arrived in the minimum delivery time. Super easy setup / startup.
Generator case access is an easy, no screw affair for battery and oil hatches.
Battery hookup and oil fill access will be no problem. ( oil fill / drain is always tricky on this type platform). The unit started immediately and all functions tested out positively.
Very impressed!
Some previous reviews referenced difficulty with - Battery access, Limited functionality of some controls, Electronic choke systems.
I had none of that . This has been the best I-Gen buying experience.
It's a rather big unit, and at 100 lbs.. be ready to handle it. That's the point!
Compare- you will see this is a good deal.
FYI; This unit will be used at at an off grid / solar cabin in harsh conditions.

Everything I was looking for in a camper generator

I bought this because I wanted reliable power to my camper trailer while traveling in the summer. I need to run the airconditioner when stopping at a rest stop and the features on this one suite my needs perfectly.
