Nice machine, a few setup problems.

There is a spacer between the oil drain plug and the crankcase. The spacer is threaded into the crankcase and allows the draining oil to fall thru a hole in the bottom of the outer housing of the generator. On setting up the new machine, I decided to check the tightness of the drain plug. The plug was tight. The spacer - not so much. Just a bit more than finger tight, very little pressure on a small wrench and it was loose. I fear if I hadn't checked it, I could have lost all engine oil while running. Hopefully the "low oil" sensor would have shut the generator down before any damage was done.
Also, reinstalling the drain plug is a royal pain. A red wire to the starter passing over the drain plug is not helpful, a longer bit of wire rerouted would make a big difference.
I think we will like this generator and that it will serve us well. Quality assurance (read: tight drain plugs) and a little more thought on engineering would be more satisfying.

Love this generator!

I bought the iGen4500 after weeks of research. My priorities were the most power with the lowest noise. When the generator arrived I started per the instructions right away and was blown away by not only the quality but it was more quiet that I was expecting. I can run my 15000 btu Rv air, the refrigerator and microwave all at one time. I’m so glad I went with the 4500 watts. I have access to other 3000 watt generators and this 4500 watts monster is quieter than the EU and Briggs even at 50% load. I’ve already told my closest friends to go buy this generator.

QUIET

Just opened it, added oil and fuel, plugged in battery, turned fuel lever and start rocker switch to on, pressed remote to start... VOILA! PERFECT...! Literally, less than ten minutes after un-boxing it I had a perfectly running generator that is QUIET! So excited... thank you W-house

This generator is exactly what we were looking for. Remote start, plenty of output, easy to move around and nice to look at. So glad we decided on this generator. It is super quiet running and a great buy.

Super Product!

Purchased this generator about a month ago to use primarily for camping, started it yesterday for a small test run, if that is any indication of future performance, this is a super product. It ran very smooth and quiet...time will tell but I'm very optimistic.
