Nice generator but not reliable

I've had this generator for a little over a year and only recently put it to any sort of extended use on a camping trip. After roughly 3 hours it started making a knocking noise and stopped putting out voltage. I suspect the inverter has gone bad and am in the process of submitting a warranty claim. Hopefully it can be repaired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this unit, only thing I’ve found is the auto display will not scroll. Waiting on reply from technician. It is the 4th of July so should hear back soon.

Great quality control on arrive

I'm at 7000' for the summer and Westinghouse Customer Service was happy to direct me to a high altitude kit to make my unit run better. Hasn't arrive yet, but I have faith in their team after talking to them. Kind, friendly and reassuring.
