Love my iGen4500. Started up with first push of the electronic start. Can't wait to get in the woods this weekend.

Remote start

Bought for my father because of the remote start. He is 81 and I didn’t want him having to walk back and forth to generator. Starting works great. Stopping - you have to be pretty close to it.

I researched generators for a long time before making my decision. I am really happy I did. The more I read, the more this make and model stood out to me as the one to get. That decision was reinforced by it going out of stock as soon as it became available at all distributors. Like many others, I am anxious for the power to go out again.

Stopped working after second use

The iGen4500 was delivered on June 9th and was only used a couple of times and has already stopped working. The unit cranks but does not start. I've read a few reviews about a bad choke system but the choke does seem to be working. I am also disappointed that the unit was manufactured in early 2019.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice generator

Pleasantly surprised at the quality, for a relatively inexpensive generator with such high output. Started quickly and ran flawlessly. Haven't powered it to anything yet, but I am sure it will handle the load fine.
