I love how compact this unit is. It has wheels and a dolly handle. The unit is almost a 100 lbs but the dolly handle really helps. There are also two good handholds on top. Easy operation.

I bought this for my RV because it had the remote start. It's very quite, light weight. Like the retractable handle for moving around. It runs everything I need to have power in the RV. Great value for what you get.

Easy Assembly Runs my RV Air Conditioner

The assembly was easy. Instructions were easy to follow (see below comment). After getting everything set up it started right up using the remote start and the push button start. It took numerous (12-15) pulls on the manual start to get it started manually. I hooked the generator up to my RV and it ran the air conditioner without any issues. The generator was using 50% power to run the air conditioner. Hopefully this generator will work for years to come.
I wish this was made in the USA since Westinghouse is an American company. Unfortunately it's not. It's made in China.
The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is for the following reasons:
1. The battery is not secure and when you lift the generator by the handle the battery falls out of place, opening battery door, which promptly falls off. I used two large zip ties to secure the battery.
2. The control panel on the front of my generator does not match the schematic I was supplied with in the owner's manual and quick set up guide. Looks like the generator was updated but the owner's manual was not.

GREAT CAMPER GENERATOR

Bought the iGen 4500 to run my camper/rv, including the 13500 BTU A/C. It does it with ease, quietly! Love the remote start.

Amazingly quiet

We purchased this generator as a dual purpose unit. When we travel with our travel trailer and if we lose power at home. It's perfect for our needs and will run EVERYTHING in the RV and every essential item in the house. Upon arrival, setup could not have been easier. Read the instructions, filled with oil and fuel, connected the battery and started it up. Incredibly easy and very quiet. My wife and I were able to have a normal conversation with the generator running within 20ft.
A little disappointed with what appears to be rust around the gas tank opening. Brand new unit and rusty around the fuel? Not comforting. The only thing we could hope for would be a lighter unit. at 98lbs it's heavy, although easily managed with two people lifting it into my truck. It can be done solo, but having a friend is much easier.
So far, we love the generator and would definitely buy it again.
