Worth every dollar!

The Igen4500 is superior to other gen’s in its class. It’s quiet, starts easily and has a long run time.
When you purchase this go ahead and order the high altitude kit. You will need if you are above 2000ft .
I would have given it 5 stars if the high altitude kit was included.

Remote start and great power

Bought this for my travel trailer runs an air conditioner all the lights a toaster heater and microwave all at once. Blown away by how quiet and capable this generator is

Great Generator

I purchased the iGen 4500 the beginning of April, it arrived on time as stated. I have tested the iGen on my 50 amp travel trailer and preforms great. I will operate 1 A/C at a time (travel trailer has 2 A/C systems) along with other small appliances. The noise level is low and increases as a heavy load is added, however, I was able to have a conversion standing about 4 to 5 feet away without raising my voice. Very happy so far. My recommendation is if you have a RV get this unit you won't be disappointment.

Poor Quality Control

I just purchased this Generator and opened the box. I filled with oil and gas and read all the instructions. The first time starting the generator, I noticed fuel leaking from the bottom. I opened the side panel and noticed fuel leaking from the carburetor fuel bowl. I checked the bolt and it was tight. I took the bold holding the fuel bowl off and saw that the gasket was pinched and not inserted correctly. I flattened out the gasket and put the fuel bowl back on. I started the generator and let it run for 5 minutes with no leaks. I'm glad I was not out in the field using it for the first time when this happened. So far the Generator is quieter than I expected and runs smoothly. I will have a better opinion after running the unit for a while.
