I bought my generator just in case of an extended power outage due to any sever weather, like hurricane Sally in 2020 which hit close by. I just want to be able to run our standing freezer, lights, a standing fan & a couple of light electronic units. I have tested it by running the freezer & a table lamp for about 5 minutes and didn't see any issue! Overall I am very happy.

4500 generator

Didn’t think I’d receive this generator with the known issue of a bad choke system. I figured after reading the reviews of a year ago this would have been remedied. Not so. Had to remove the air filter and stuck my finger in the choke hole to get it to start. After that it fired up on repeated occasions that day. Went out the next morning and got the same result of no starting.
Will put a request into Westinghouse like many others and hope to get a fix it response.
This has all the features of a good generator and I’m not disappointed about getting it, bugs in everything these days.

My husband did ALOT of research on generators before deciding on this one. We were lucky enough to get one before they sold out, they were hard to find anywhere in the middle of June! This generator is great, and super quiet. The best part is the remote control. I can start it and turn it off from inside our camper trailer!

I just started using the product and only have a couple of hours on it and it seems to work quite well to recharge the batteries on my 2018 Rockwood minilite trailer. Has to perform an easy fix of an electrical connector which disconnected due to shipping but otherwise very nice. I like the electric and remote start features.
