So far good but has a choke problem

I have seen some of these this year camping and I needed just a little more power from a 3500 watt generator so I purchased it since it was cheaper then the Onan 4500 same type just blue, it has been running great used it for the first time this weekend ran the 15K AC just fine but it has one little problem so far I have to go out and turn the manual choke on when starting the switch it off starts right up after that it starts up with remote all day, next morning same thing have to choke it then it runs all day no problems. I thought this had and electronic choke on it so you don't have to go out and start it up in the morning every time, so still trying figure out what is up with the choke, if this is the case every time Westinghouse should have put a manual choke lever on the outside of the generator so you don't have to take the cover of all the time to get to the choke.

One of the best camping generators

Bought this a few weeks ago. It works great, very user friendly, the remote is an added bonus, and it runs pretty quiet for a 4500 watt generator.

I bought this for my fifth wheel for travel when power is not available. Very handy that I don't need a 30amp adapter and I don't have to mess with the choke like my other small generators I had, and I don't have to worry about paralleling 2 gens. This one has an awesome handle that comes out of the bottom in the front and I can move it easily by myself even through the gravel. I do need my husband to help me lift it on and off the rack on the back of my trailer but once it's there it stays there for the trip as it's around 110lbs. The remote start is great for early mornings when I want coffee but don't want to have to go out and pull start a couple of generators. It has remote start or push button start, auto choke so you don't have to mess with that, and if all else fails you can pull start it. Noise level is nice - quieter than my 2 small gens that I had paralleled even under load. The digital displays are nice for knowing just where you are at. Very happy with the purchase so far.

I took out of box set up and it started right away ran for the 5 hour break in period. The next time I went to use it was while camping and wouldn't start tries troubleshooting in the field with no success. When I got home got the manual out and followed the troubleshooting steps after a hour or working on it I found the choke wasn't staying set and it fired up. It could be q better generator than 2 stars but have no idea since I couldn't use it and if i need to disassemble everytime I use it then it's garbage

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. The power output and remote start were the key features that attracted me. The Westinghouse name and service network convinced me to make this purchase.
