Best Price; Best Features; Low db

After some extensive research, I chose the iGen4500 as it provided the best feature at the best price. I needed a generator for my RV and my house but didn't want to spend thousands doing it. The iGen4500 has more than enough power for my RV and enough to run the essentials in my house. One of my primary requirements was low db. You can find much cheaper generators but if you're looking for one of the lowest decibels on the market in this price range, this is the one for you.

iGen4500

I just recently purchased the iGen4500 to use with my RV when boon docking. It has the power to run everything in my camper with no issues. Very pleased with the performance and so pleasantly surprised with how quiet it is. When I am inside the RV I can barely hear it. If the A/C is on, I can’t hear the generator at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This generator is so quiet and it has plenty of power. It’s easy to move around. The display shows how much run time is left and provides clean power.

Works as advertised straight out of the box. Quick and Easy assembly. Ready to go camping in less than 30 minutes. Great job Westinghouse keep producing quality products.

Why have a remote?

I haven’t actually used it yet but got it ready and tested it prior to our cold winters.
It seems to run and start just fine but the fact that it comes with a remote start FOB puzzles me. You still have to go out to the machine to turn the switch on or you will drain your battery.
When you turn on the on switch it lights up which will drop power from the battery constantly as long as it is turned on where the battery dies.
The instructions also say not to have anything plugged in to the generator when you start it so that’s another thing you have to be at the machine for.
Use caution when putting the engine oil in. The bottle says .64 quarts but mine did not take the whole bottle.
