We love that this will run our A/C units and our microwave in our motor home without missing a beat! The remote feature is pure heaven, especially because we do a lot of camping in the snow. Gas tank capacity is great and we don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to refill it before it runs out.
Very nice, mobile, quiet, etc. Best amenities in a generator for the price point. Only problem is that the connector for the automatic choke was disconnected when it arrived (apparently a common problem). Notified customer service and received a service alert on how to correct, but then was unable to get one of the bolts out (also apparently a common issue, as I found a video online relatively quickly that showed a workaround). No reason for a product of this price to not have a better connector, especially when it looks to be a common issue. Those connectors can't be cost prohibitive to find a different supplier and switch out. If you don't mind having to open up and work on the generator you just purchased, then it's fine. If you do, then this isn't the generator for you. Aside from that, no issues.
I bought the iGen4500 last year and used it all summer for my horse trailer with living quarters that needed 30 amps. Worked great with now problems! So I bought one more and will use them both to power my 50 amp travel travel trailer.
Bought it as an auxiliary power source for the house and love the quietness of it the only downfall is where do you have to put the oil in and checking it can be bothersome
Starting it is like starting a sports car: switch on power, press and hold start button for a second then remove your finger form the button and the generator quickly starts. I use this to power a large 15 amp Makita rotary drill with a 36" bit to drill though hard clay soil and it performs admirably. I highly recommend this Westinghouse product!
