I just bought the generator and haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. However, it's a beautiful piece of equipment and runs very well. Filling it with oil was a lot like trial and error. The funnel is very helpful but I had to keep removing it and checking to ensure that I hadn't overfilled the generator with oil. I think it would also be helpful to have a battery status indicator.

Bought this for camper. Works great, runs the air conditioner fine. Read reviews/problems online. My auto choke was disconnected, once hooked up it runs like a champ.

Awesome Inverter Generator (iGen4500)

Super quiet and powerful enough to use as a source of power for an entire off-grid cabin home. The remote control is fantastic to have. Fuel efficient means it can run an entire day on eco mode on one fill up. At first I bought the Westinghouse generator (not inverter) and it was way too loud and super heavy. This Inverter is night and day different, invest the extra money to get this inverter, you’ll be glad you did. The only thing I don’t like about this iGen4500 is the oil change door is very poorly designed, it’s off center from the drain bolt and too small to fit an average medium sized adult male hand through the door. The bottom drain hole in the case shell could also have been a door instead of a hole with a plug. Terrible design for oil changes, I’m not sure what kind of product design team thought it was okay.

Great value and peace of mind!

I did some research and decided on the Westinghouse IGEN4500. It's a great size for our needs to go camping and/or as home back up for power outages. I ordered it online and it arrived packaged well and started on the first try. So far I've only ran the break in 5 hour period and a mock run for a power outage. Performance was excellent!
