Used various generators throughout the years as a firefighter. This generator seems to be almost as quiet as the 2200 watt red generators which name starts with the letter “H”.
After adding oil and gas this generator started immediately with the push of the start button. Starter battery was fully charged straight from the box.
Overall this unit appears to be built solid and I expect it will provide many years of reliable service.
Out of the box it took less than 10 mins before we were up and running. Very manageable for one person and so quiet compared to my last generator - such an improvement! Do yourself a favor and add the oil slowly and in phases. My generator didn't quite take the full quart. I plan to use this for my camper and as a partial home back up generator. So far so good!
We purchased this generator with high hopes and we were not disappointed! This generator has great features, our favorite is the remote control. Fires up right away and the handle to roll it around is extremely convenient.
After reading some reviews apparently mine was finished on a Wednesday I have had no issues started up first time with a remote ,push button ,and pull start. I had a friend that had the same one absolutely loves it .That’s why I purchase this one ,so far so good very happy with its performance at our off grid property in the wood. It’s super quiet and ran it Friday,Saturday,& Sunday at the camp and burned 6.5 Gallons 2 campers just necessities no A/C unit this weekend was cool ,but I did run the air just to test it’s operation and it handled it no problem.Digital information is awesome and gives instant feedback once a load changes, Fuel economy, run hours at that load.
IGen4500 - Unpacked unit, everything looked great! Very well packed. Filled with oil and fresh gasoline. Before I could even try to start unit, I could smell a strong gas order. After further inspection I noticed gas dripping from bottom of unit. I had to remove covers in order to fine leak, where I found the short 90 degree gas hose between gas tank and line filter steadily dripping. Removed gas line and plugged tank outlet so the 3 gallons of fuel wouldn’t completely run out all over my concrete driveway. What a mess! I’ll try to follow-up on this review after I replace hose and get it running. Hopefully I can change my rating to a 5.
