only complaint is that the oil fill is in a terrible place and there is no gauge to let you know how full it is.

New Unit

I just received my 2nd unit…my 1st unit was plagued with problems…Westinghouse Service Dept were in constant contact with the issues and attempted to remedy the problems numerous times…once service and the repair shop determined the unit was beyond repair Service was quick to expedite a new unit. I received the new unit within 3 days and recently started the unit with no issues thanks for the heads up service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outstanding generator!

Bought this generator to support critical appliances during power outages in the summer and winter. Keeps food frozen in the summer and allows us to have heat in the winter when it is cold. Very low volume when running as well

Quiet for size- Needs High Elevation Carb.

Just purchased, have not used camping yet. Seems easy to use and runs quiet for the size of generator. I like the remote start. I was a bit surprised the manual says to purchase a "high elevation" carburetor (>5,000Ft). Never seen this recommendation before on lawn mowers or snow blowers. Figured there would have been an adjustment you could do to the factory installed carb.

Quiet running

After reading several reviews the first thing I did was check the battery and found one loose terminal. I reinstalled the screw and nut and then followed the instructions. The unit started right away and ran perfectly. So far, so good.
