Great, quiet generator

Bought this generator a week ago. Just opened it up, added oil, added gas, and it cranked right up. Was able to run my travel trailer using the AC and microwave with no problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve had this a week and have around 12 hours on it. It runs great with no issues. It won’t handle both of my rv air conditioners but they’re 22 years old and likely need more power to start up. So far we love this generator and it’s much less expensive than some competitors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

Purchased after the winter storm of 2021 in Texas where we were without power for several days. We have tested it out & its easy to use & powering up electronics worked. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it in a power outage yet, but I have a sense of security with it.

Had it for awhile never needed it. Then one night in our 5th wheel the park lost power. This baby fired right up and we had power all night and the next day with hardly using any gas. This was in the middle of Texas summer so AC are a must. We love this generator so much now. You never need one until you do. Oh and super quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WORKED GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX

PURCHASED THIS LAST YEAR, HOWEVER, DUE TO LOCKDOWNS CAMPING WAS PUT OFF UNTIL THIS YEAR. OPENED THE BOX THIS YEAR FILLED WITH OIL AND GAS... FIRST PULL AND IT STARTED.
AFTER LETTING IT RUN FOR AN HOUR WITH NO LOAD, I POWERED IT UP AGAIN AND PLUGGED IN OUR 30/50 AMP CAMPER/TRAILER. NOW FOR THE TEST. I TURNED ON THE MAIN AIR CONDITIONER AND YOU COULD HEAR THE GENERATOR NOW UNDER A LOAD. THEN TURNED ON THE REFRIGERATOR.THE GENERATOR POWERED BOTH ESSENTIALS WITH NO PROBLEM. ACCORDING TO THE GAUGE ON THE IGEN4500 IT WAS SHOWING 25% USAGE.
THE NEXT TEST WAS HAVING THE WIFE COME OUT AND CHECK THE NOISE LEVEL. WITH THE GENERATOR ONLY 4 FEET FROM THE CAMPER AND THE BEDROOM LOCATION BEING RIGHT THERE THE NOISE WAS TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE FOR MY WIFE. THE NOISE WAS FINE WHILE IN THE CAMPER LIVING AREA, YOU COULD HEAR IT BUT IT WAS REALLY NOT NOTICABLE WHILE HAVING A CONVERSATION. IF THE GENERATOR WAS PLACED TOWARD THE REAR THE NOISE LEVEL, I'M SURE, WOULD BE EVEN LOWER.
AFTER RUNNING THE IGEN4500 FOR OVER AN HOUR THE TRAILER WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE REFRIGERATOR WAS WORKING FINE AND CHILLED. REALLY THE ONLY OTHER ITEM{S} THAT MIGHT BE USED WOULD BE SMALL ELECTRONICS. ACCORDING TO THE FRONT OF THE IGEN4500 THERE WAS MORE POWER AVAILABLE.
AFTER ALOT OF RESEACH PRIOR TO MY PURCHSE, I AM SO PLEASED WITH THE IGEN4500. I WILL UPDATE MY REVIEW AFTER OUR SUMMER TRIPS AND WE PUT IT THROUGH THE ACTUAL CAMPING EXPERIENCE.
