Simple to Use and Great Features

I bought this in September of 2024 after a major extended power outage in Duncan SC. The setup was easy and took about 10. Fortunately, I haven't had a reason to use it since I purchased it other than a 30-minute break in period which went flawlessly. I feel confident that we are ready if we experience an extended power outage in the future. Definitely worth the peace of mind moving forward.

Nice Intermediate Size Inverter!

I bought this 6 months ago to deal with frequent power outages. Starts-up flawlessly every time with the push of a button, powers the whole house and runs extremely quiet. Very satisfied with this inverter.

I bought this to have piece of mind at home when I'm away and my family deals with inclement weather. Very easy to use, runs quiet, and set up was easy. Great pick for keeping necessities running off you don't need a whole house standby generator.

Excellent generator, bought during Covid time frame, use this for a remote weekend cabin on and off, in the summer I use for 2 ac’s and a cpap , machine and basic stuff . Sometime it stays in for 24-48 hrs even 72 hrs. Switched to synthetic oil early on.and change oil regularly between 60-80 hrs or when dirty which in the summer is 1x a month .
Only issues I’ve had : oil changes are messy, it drains to the plate under it where there is a drain plug which allows you to drain to a oil pan, but it’s still messy and sometimes oil comes out when you think you got oil out later after running it , not best design, push button starting issues after a crap Tom of hrs in it ( not all the time ), still need to trouble shoot BUT after 5 yrs it could be the button , the starter. Rarely use the pull cord, only if if super cold in the teens and the old start choke don’t work after it tried to start by push button. It has a cold start and RPM’s will raise higher if it’s super cold for a few minutes then drop down.I’ve used this on a ext cord to run lights to another cabin probably 150ft-250 ft away on eco mode more than what was suggested to do with no issues for a while.
Great gage showing how many hrs left based on load and fule in tank.forgot I had to re tie a “ not” in the pull cord handle ..

Great Unit - Love it

I purchased this unit in March 2024. We do a lot of outdoor activities, and it has more than lived up to my expectations. It has plenty of power to run all of our needs and is actually great on gas. Our most recent use, it ran 8+ hours for two days straight and I didn't refuel. I would definitely purchase again.

The iGen5000c is exactly the generator I wanted

I was looking for an inverter generator that was quiet yet powerful enough to provide home backup for a gas furnace, some appliances and key lighting circuits. I had looked at other brands but they were either more or less powerful than I needed or weren't in my price range. I read a review of this model in consumer reports and decided this is the unit I need. It's VERY quiet, more so than I was expecting. Setup was very straight forward but a little messy (I overfilled the oil). And it started right up. Time will tell but so far I am really pleased with this purchase.
