Little faith in the Texas grid led me to buying this unit to power my home. Very solid generator with lots of bells and whistles. It comes with everything you need except the fuel’

1st Generator

This is the first generator that I’ve ever purchased but I did a great deal of research and this one came out on top for my needs. I really like that it is tri-fuel capable, push button/remote electric start, pull start as a backup and has a 50 amp outlet. Most importantly it is less than 5% THD.
I set it up with a 50 Amp inlet on the outside of my house paired with an interlock kit and a dedicated breaker in the panel along with a whole home surge protector. I also had a NG line hookup installed right after the NG gas meter at my house.
So far it runs great on non-ethanol gasoline and propane. I am, however, having some difficulties running it on NG. It seems to stumble and run rough on NG. If I place the selector switch to propane while feeding it NG it seems to run fine. I’ve changed the spark plug and verified that my house meter is regulated to a low pressure that falls within the specifications per Westinghouse. I’m going to measure the actual pressure of the NG once I get the proper gauge and go from there. Hopefully we can get the NG setting dialed in.

WGen10500TFc- Great Features

I bought this portable generator after going through a power outage of 5 days. And don't want to go without power like that again.
I am going to hook this up with a House Transfer Box and Natural Gas to power the whole house without being concerned to refuel. Also, gain the benefit of running clean fuel and not have to be concerned about fuel storage.

Powered Right Up

I just unboxed the WGen10500TFc, added the oil, installed the wheels, added a little gas, hit the remote start button and it powered right up. Been running smoothly for a half hour. So far, couldn't be happier. I purchased this model to power my home breaker panel. We live out in the sticks on well water. We really depend on this generator to keep us going when power goes out. Look forward to using when the need arises.
