Invest in Your Safety

After going through several multiday power outages, we were done with being at the mercy of the electrical grid. We do have a small scale portable solar setup, but it just was only enough to keep some lights on and some phones charged. This generator works great on natural gas with a 30 foot gas hose. Just buy it if you're on the fence. You won't regret it when the power goes out again.

Great Generator quick start on both L/P and gas

easy start, runs great on L/P and gas. My third Westinghouse generator. The next time that I purchase another generator, I will look first at Westinghouse.

Purchased this generator to keep our house powered during hurricanes and winter snaps here in Texas.
Pros: easy to assemble and set up. Worked great during hurricane Beryl, which lasted over 7 days.
Cons: Even with doing the included maintenance schedule, and making sure to run at least 30 minutes every month, the generator has stopped running on gasoline completely. Will start and run on propane, but not on gasoline.
Overall, a nice generator that was able to power our house, but not reliable to count on in emergencies.
