Hurricane backup in Fl

Bought this unit in Oct. 2024 for future hurricane hits in Florida. Expecting it to run most if not the entire house. Still finishing up electrical work to integrate and finished break in period. So far so good!

I bought this for use as a backup home generator, it is the perfect size and best value to power all my home essential circuits and a little more! After all the freezes and hurricanes in Houston I will never be stuck without power again!

With winter coming in the North Country of New Hampshire, I am pleased to have this generator ready to go. I tested it with my meter, and the output held steady at 120.6 Volts. I appreciate the covers for the outlets -- a feature that other generators that I was considering didn't offer.

Put together in 10 minutes. Added provide oil and fueled 8 gallons of 89 octane regular gas with fuel stabilizer. Start with electric start on second attempt.

Well-built Generator

I bought this to replace another brand of tri-fuel generator which operated fine but did not have the running wattage capacity on natural gas I needed to operate my two air conditioners simultaneously, nor did it have such features as remote start. (Note: both central A/C units have Micro-Air EZ Starts installed). Two friends had recently purchased this same model and had nothing but praise after using them for an extended period following the widespread electrical outage cause by Hurricane Beryl in SE Texas. I already had the quick-connect gas supply and tie-in to my main electrical panel set up so now I'm ready for the next power outage (hurricane or rolling 'brown-outs'). The multitudes of high rated reviews convinced me to change brands, and so far, I'm well satisfied!
