All I need for power outages

I purchased this after Helena and many previous power outages. I take medicines that need refridgeration and this wiil keep my freezer and refridgerator running and also my food from being discarded. I am in the process of getting the inlet box, panel interlock kit and natural gas disconnect connected to my gas meter. I like the fact that starter oil is included and the empty bottle can be used to help measure for each additional oil change. I like the trickle charger so my battery will be fully charged when needed. I am putting the battery on the charger while I am waiting for my electriction and gas pumber Westinghouse has done their homework and I can see why this is rated at the top.I will not add the oil until after the electrical and N/G hookups are finished and I will give full review after everything is up and running.

I purchased and brought home. Super easy to get running. Added the oil and the included funnel worked great. Connected battery, followed the easy to understand instructions and the generator started right up.

The best user friendly generator I've EVER purchased. It was so simple to get started, very little assembly. ANYONE could use this generator. I'm so used to all the negatives with getting my old generator started. Westinghouse...you had me at "Push/Remote Button Start". I'm in love!

I just received the wgen10500ftc unit it looks great. Has everything I will need once I lose power. I have already installed a connect for the power to my panel. That is all I can say. Will update later.

I purchased this Westinghouse generator because it was powered by gasoline, propane or natural gas. The set up was easy and has many different type connections to power any type of appliance power, tools or heating and cooling the home.

This is the second W-House generator that I purchased. I sold the old generator with my old house and purchased a new one when I moved. I loved the reliability of my old duel fuel one and am excited that this one is Tri-Fuel adding a natural gas option. The remote start option sounds trivial but once the generator is set up, pointing and clicking from inside the house to start up the generator is a great feature especially in a major storm!

My first generator following Helene

I purchased a W generator based on a low THD spec and natural gas compatibility. Having a tri-fuel model provides a backup plan for fuel if I need to transport it to one of my children for use in a prolonged power outage. Setup out of the box was easy and the instructions were clear. The break-in oil was included with the purchase along with a 15-foot hose for natural gas (1/2”) and a propane hose/regulator. The unit was connected to a natural gas supply and came to life once the hose was purged (about 15 seconds of cranking). The unit’s noise level requires conversations to be moved about 25’ away to be heard. Unit shutdown is uncomplicated with natural gas and storage takes only a few minutes to complete. I plan to switch to synthetic oil after the break-in period and modify the house electrical system for a transfer box connection. I am pleased with the purchase and conclude the price vs. value is appropriate.
