Best whole home alternative out there.

For the money, comparing this generator to a generac vs just running this Westinghouse through a transfer switch into your panel safely, there's no question. We've got natural gas so there's no running out to fill up gas cans if you don't have to. I've installed "slow/soft" starts on our AC units and were able to run our AC during an outage. I wanted to be prepared for the next winter storm (or even hurricane, good lord) and the 10500 has everything I need to keep our fridges and AC going safely. I'm using this exact setup at my mother's house as well. It even comes with a remote fob start that I didn't see listed in the info, nice! I trust the name as I've encountered no negatives with Westinghouse during the last ten years as an HVAC mechanic and look forward to having lights on when I need them to be.

Just purchased my tri-fuel 10500 generator. It was easy to set up, especially with my natural gas line. It started right up and is working as advertised. Very pleased so far.

Just what we needed

We purchased this after hurricane Helene passed through our area. We had talked about buying a generator for a while and this seemed like the time to do it. We won't have to worry about power outages again. This is exactly what we ordered and expected. So thankful that we made this purchase.

I love the out of the box remote start system - add gas, oil, wheels, and press start! A++ This generator is well designed and balanced so the folding bar does not seem very heavy when moving. Well laid out power distribution and a monster gas tank. Superior quality - thank you Westinghouse!

Happy thus far. Easy to set up and start. The remote start/electric start will come in handy in rough weather and for the wife to operate. Seems to be a great product thus far. I researched generators for about a week before deciding on the westinghouse.

This was purchased for an upcoming hurricane. It was easy to use and set up. No issues so far. Downfalls are it is very loud and extremely heavy. If you are a single person you will need at least one person to help you lift it until you get the wheels installed.
