Great for home backup

I bought this generator and a 50-amp power inlet to use as a backup for my home in the case of power outage, as we frequently lose power in our area. I have only used in testing, but this unit provides enough power for our needs, so far. It will be nice to use all the conveniences during the next power outage. Great running engine and great power output.

Well Written Instructions

I unpacked my new generator yesterday and wanted to mention how clear / easy to follow the user manual is. The manual is divided into several chapters. The “Assembly” chapter guided me step by step through the process with clear diagrams and instructions. The “Operation” chapter is also very easy to understand. Since this is a Tri-Fuel, it outlined the steps for each option in a clear approach as well.
In addition to the manual – there are step by step stickers on the unit itself that serve as quick reminders.
When I looked at the oil fill location – I realized that I would need to get a funnel to reach it. When I went to the box to get the included oil – there was a funnel already there. According to the manual it needs 1.2 liters and the included oil contained 1.2 liters – so I was happy that the unit is sold with all the necessary items included.
Although I plan to use natural gas – I connected it to a propane tank, and it started right up and ran great. The scheduled maintenance instructions for oil changes, etc. is easy to follow.

An Incredibly Well Thought Out Gen Set

Upon searching and comparing, this generator had the needed power, accessories for gasoline but included natural gas and propane all included, for a great home back-up system. I am in the process of finishing the installation for natural gas, to keep the generator clean and ready, and really also appreciate the battery tender as these are necessary to have this generator set ready when the day comes it's needed. Heavy, but portable enough to take on the road to help others in their need too, so besides my 50amp cord hook up to my home, I have extra extension cords should I need to deliver this set to help others.

My first Generator

I bought this Westinghouse generator a month ago. So far this it is great. My plan is to use it to power the whole house. It is really easy to assemble.What I love tho most is that I can easily choose the fuel type to make it work. So far I have tried with Propane and Natural Gas. It comes with everything you need, Just plug and play.

Works great and well built

Works as advertised. I just have the 5 -hour break-in run completed with propane. Everything seems well built. Everything started just fine. Even came with a battery tender type device which I thought I was going to have to purchase separately. I definitely would purchase again.
If I had to have one minor nitpick complaint it would be the covers for the outlets are kind of cheap and flimsy but that's being very nitpicky.

Very great product. Was a little hesitant about buying this generator but I am glad that I did. Its performance is amazing and it exceeded my expectations as it can handle just about anything you throw at it within its specifications. Would recommend to anyone looking for great quality and performance.

Easy Set-up and great piece if mind

We bought this right before Hurricane Helene was going to hit Florida. Thankfully we were just west enough to not get any effect but it sure did offer piece of mind knowing we would be able to run most of our house with this. We set it up and are working on the break in hours. So far so good. We did notice a strange humming when load is put onto the generator the first time we used it so we will be making sure this isn’t a problem. Overall we are pretty happy.
