Didn't have for Beryl, but ready for next major outage. Chose based on power requirements (could have used less but wanted the additional overhead). The lowd THD was also a big factor as have a number of UPS's and sensitive items around.

Exceptional Power and Reliability – A Must-Have!

Living in Houston, we deal with plenty of power outages, especially during hurricane season, so having the WGen11500TFc generator has been a game-changer. I love the peace of mind it provides. With 11,500 watts of power, it keeps everything running smoothly, from the fridge to the AC, no problem. The fact that it’s a tri-fuel generator means I can use gas, propane, or natural gas, depending on what's available, which is super convenient during emergencies. The electric start and remote start features make it incredibly easy to use, and despite its power, it’s not too loud. It’s built like a tank, so I know it’s going to last. If you're in Houston and need a reliable backup, this generator is a no-brainer.

Hooked up to natural gas supply and a plug to be able to connect to house electrical panel - can run most of the house

Bought this unit a few weeks ago, and instantly love it. The Tri-fuel 11500 is the best bang for your buck. Remote start was particularly useful for my wife to just hit start and the house comes back on.
