Ran NG gas line to patio before Beryl hit here in Houston. This was a great investment! The generator ran flawless nonstop all day for 7 days, powering my entire house with ease. I have 3 minisplits, 2 fridges and electronics. My wife even ran the clothes washer and dryer. Not once did this unit bogg down. I am impressed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After thorough research, the Westinghouse WGen11500TFC stood out as the best value. Assembly was a breeze thanks to clear instructions, and the generator fired up on the first try.

Serious generator, only a couple of issues

Arrived in great condition and appears to be very solid (and extremely heavy). Haven't had to run it yet, other than test start. I took off one star for the following reasons:
1) Online it is advertised as < 5% THD but manual says <23% THD. I hope 5 is correct, that was a major selling point for me.
2) The instructions to pair the key fob did not work for me. If I try to hold the engine start button for 10 seconds, the engine tries to start after 2 seconds. Also, the manual says the green light on the start button will come on after the battery is switched on, but it does not. Only comes on for me if I press the button.
3) I could not find any specification as to what size and threading I need to install on my natural gas line to connect the included gas hose. I will have to take the hose with me to the store and experiment to find the right connector.

Excellent Generator

I bought this generator after much research from being without power after Hurricane Beryl. I am very happy with the features and power of this thing. Currently using it on gas and propane, but plan to hook up a NG line to the back side of the house for extended outages. The main thing that drew me to this particular generator is the low THD and wattage for the price point.
I would recommend this to a friend!
