Perfect for what I need

I have been looking for a new generator for several months to replace my old one of almost 20yrs. This one will run my entire house if I ever lose power. My plan is to connect a 50amp plug to my house panel and won’t have to worry about cords running everywhere. The propane option allows me to not need to store or replace gas. I now have 2 100lb tanks which are much easier to maintain and it burns much cleaner. Set up was really easy and it started on the first try. Machine is over 200lbs so if you have to pick it up bring some help and install the wheels and feet first. Helps with moving it around much easier. Handle is a big help and it folds down out of the way.

Actually not, because I bought this for basic needs of a random power outage or hurricane. I will test out periodically and give an update on performance. Product is stout and well built.

The WGen10500TFc is a modern sports car!

I upgraded to the WGen10500TFc from a Generac XG10000e for fuel flexibility and the best way that I could describe the differences is that my new Westinghouse feels like a modern sports car and my Generac feels like a dump truck. While dimensions aren't significantly different, the Westinghouse feels much smaller due to its lower profile. While visual appeal wasn't a consideration in my purchase, the flat black coating on the frame coupled with the blue really gives it a nice look. The website pics really don't do it justice. She's a beaut Clark! Another pain point with my Generac was that it was electric start only. I now have both electric and recoil options. Between that and the tri-fuel option, the Westinghouse is a much more resilient machine. Lastly, build quality appears exceptional thus far. One of the first things I broke on my old Generac was the handle because there was a cheap piece of plastic that held the handle in its prime operating position. The Westinghouse handle is much sturdier and even has a soft foam padding so I can feel pampered while moving it about. I also like the cross bars over the fuel tank for added protection against me dropping things on it. While I've tested it, I haven't had the opportunity to put her to work running my home over multiple days yet, but so far I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
