Great Tri Fuel Generator to run most of my home

I bought this generator with the purpose of being able to run most of my home in case of a power outage. Having the ability to use three types of fuel was important. I am choosing to use natural gas as that is what my home uses for cooking and heating. I installed a manual transfer switch into my breaker panel and ran a 50 amp hookup on the exterior of my home. With this generator and my setup I can run my central a/c unit, two refrigerator/freezers, my gas stove/oven and microwave, washer and gas dryer, family room lights, master bedroom lights, a spare bedroom and a bathroom. Even with all.of.theae running, I would still be able to.run additional items off the 120v outlets on the generator. This generator is going to add piece of mind that should our power go out, we would still be able to live comfortably until power is restored.

Fantastic generator!

I recently bought the generator for emergency backup during storms. I like the tri-fuel features. Setup was easy to follow. It started up with right away.. the remote control is handy.

We are replacing our original Generator and upgraded to the Westinghouse WGen10500TFc because of the Manufacturer reputation and the very good reviews we read. Nothing is more important than having a sense of safety when there are many reasons for equipment to be put to use. We have medical issues that require immediate and constant use of equipment and will again be assured we will get through the electricity issues we have had.

Beast of a generator for a great price

I researched generators quite a bit and the Westinghouse generators have much better reviews than most. Generator was very easy to set up following enclosed instructions. Once I hit the start button it fired right up and ran great. Generator has enough power to run my entire house during a power outage (can you say ice storm & high winds, etc.). Generator has the feel of a well made product. You get a lot for the money!
