This was my first generator purchase and after exhausting research came to the conclusion this generator is very well priced for the options it comes with!! With Westinghouse dependability you cannot go wrong. Set up was simple.
It powered my entire house and decibel level was surprisingly quiet.
I couldn’t be happier. Do yourself a favor and give yourself peace of mind with a Westinghouse generator!

Worked great…for about 40 mins

After first 40 mins, stopped working. Every time I restart it - whether electronically or manually - it shuts off within a minute. Have had it less than 4 months and already needed to have it serviced. Stick to a better brand than Westinghouse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Built well, Easy to assemble

We bought this generator after our 10 year old generator dies ( not a Westinghouse ).
This a much larger unit than our old generator and I am confident it will supply all the power we would need in an outage. I do not plan to run our Central AC off this, but it will easily run a couple window units if needed. The packaging is more than adequate and the supplied oil and tools make assembly a breeze. The remote works good and already have it plugged into the battery tender. I am please with all the added features that our old generator did not have. I plan to only use Propane and Gas, but having the NG option is an added bonus.

I really like all the options with the generator. We purchased the generator to upgrade the power from our old generator. I also like all the information that came with the unit. Installation, maintenance, fuel types ,etc...

Clean Power

What sold me on the WGen11500TFc was that it produces clean power, at less than 5% THD. That is on par with an inverter generator. It is very well made! I like that it comes with a battery charger / tender. The user manual (Rev 02) that is dated 11/10/23, has some errors in it, but not a big deal. The remote control is pre-programed from the factory, so you don't have to follow the programming instructions in the manual. Over all, I am super happy with this generator. The Westinghouse website pictures are out of date, so I included a few current photos (February 2025). Notice the engine case now has cooling fins and the wires are a bit more messy or cluttered.
