Very Pleased with the iGen11000TFc

I finally had the opportunity to use the generator for the first time and it worked perfectly. I ran it on LPG and used it for about 4 hours. For a generator it was very quiet. I like that the connections and controls are all on one side and the exhaust is on the other. It started like a champ on the first try. Very simple to use.
Changing the oil was very easy. The generator has a drain tube that extends outside of the frame so it is very neat and efficient to drain the oil into a shallow pan.
I used the recoil start as a test. It started on the second pull. Please note the manual choke is a black lever located inside the blue cover (remove the cover to find it) that has the recoil handle on it. It is located by the carburetor and air filter. Move the choke lever towards the front handle to close it (during a cold day, cold start) to start the motor and then open it again once the motor is running. I could not find the location of the choke lever in any of the supplied documentation. Note: you only need to worry about the choke if using the recoil start, otherwise the choke is controlled automatically when using the key fob or pushbutton start on the control panel.
While running the generator, I was able to watch TV and charge my phone and tablet, so the inverter does its job well.

Just about through break-in period . Everything working as it should . Gone is the anxiety of a long power outage. Decided on an inverter generator of this size because of the low THD and being able to run the whole house through an inlet plug with lockout . Had my HVAC son install an easy air soft start kit . less than 20 amps on startup for AC and 14 running amps which leaves plenty of power for the other things , even hot water .
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far so good. We purchased for our mobile coffee business. It is pretty quiet for it's size. Love the remote start! My husband is confused by the power consumption read out as the manual says it read hertz but it definitely doesn't seem like it. All in all, we are pleased so far.

earlier review of 4 stars, now I would like to give 5 stars, very quiet and found the Westinghouse video on making the ground floating neutral to plug into transfer switch, ran the break in of 5 hours without setting off the co sensor which was one of concerns, absolutely love it now !!!!
