I just bought this, so haven't had to use it for an official power outage. It offers great features, such as the 50A outlet, remote start, plus the option of three fuel sources. Great price also.

Powerful and quiet

I live in CA and have had numerous power outages due to the fires. I got this to power most of my house to include a 5-ton AC so we wouldn't be uncomfortable during the summer if the power goes out. To use AC, you will need a soft start, but very easy to install and better for your AC anyway. Also important to us was the noise level since we live in a neighborhood. For the size this is very quiet.
