This generator should be perfect for what I need. With the inverter it sips fuel compared to a traditional generator. The quiet noise will also be greatly appreciated. The reviews elsewhere are fantastic. After a lot of research, this one appears to be very reliable. I only gave it 4 stars since I have not had a chance to try it out yet.

3 oil changes and 250 hrs so far. Spark plug still in great shape and filter looks clean. I've used propane exclusively.
managed to get just up to 8000 watts draw. impressive. I sometimes do have it trip, if im charging lithium battery bank at 5000w plus add another cross-load of 500w+. I guess that is reasonable though.
This generator has a _3_ stage regulator. The usual 2 stage + DUCAR 230179. The DUCAR part is usually mounted on generator frames. If you try to hard-line this generator or use a different regulator assembly, it will vent non-stop and fail to start. Solution was to keep this DUCAR DPRA part (Westinghouse 60490020), by disconnecting the 2 stage regulator bits. Then you can use the 3/8 flare to connect to a 1000L torpedo tank (with normal 0.5psi reg). Despite the name, its not a hi/low side regulator, but It acts as a "vacuum" for the carburetor.

Have used it only once! Installed a new service panel and 50 amp plug to run most of the house in emergencies! Ram the refrigerators while power off and installing new panel! The ground fault would trip and my electrician said something was not right with the drop cord so no worries! Not a fan of how the side panels come off and go back!! Nice to be able to drain the gas out of the carburetor for storage! Cranks easy runs quiet enough! Owner manual very well put together and simple! Should last a long time cause I am a maintenance fanatic!

Seems a good value for inverter tri-fuel, although I have only tried it with propane.
One problem is one of the wheel axles is slightly bent, but not enough to stop it from rolling. No visible damage to box.

As I said, haven't used it yet. Put it together serviced it filled the oil. Set it up in my shed. Start it up just fine. Rent it for a few minutes to make sure everything was all right. Went out this morning to start it. 32° wouldn't start cranked popped wouldn't start possible low battery. I have got the charger on it now. I will know better once it's charged
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
